Say the letters smoothly, and avoid exag‐
gerating the pronunciation and inserting
lengthy pauses between the letters.
Entering the address
1. Briefly press the button on the
steering wheel.
2. ›Enter address‹
3. Wait for a request from the system.
4. Specify the desired address in the sug‐
gested form.
5. Continue entry as requested by the system.
6. If necessary, individually name the separate
components of the address, e.g., the town/
city.
Entering a town/city
The town/city can either be said as a word or
spelled.
1.
›City‹ or ›Spell city‹.
2. Wait for the system to prompt you for the
town/city.
3. Say the name of the town/city, or name at
least the first three letters.
Depending on the entry, up to 20 towns/cit‐
ies may be suggested.
4. Select the town/city.
To select a recommended town/
city: ›Yes‹
To select a different town/city: ›New
entry‹
Select an entry: ›Entry ... ‹ e.g., entry 2
To spell an entry: ›Spell city‹
Entering a street or intersection
Enter a street or intersection in the same way as
you would enter a town/city.
Entering a house number
House numbers can be entered up to the num‐
ber 999 999.
›House number‹
Say each digit separately.
Starting destination guidance
›Start guidance‹
Storing a destination
The destination is added to the list of last des‐
tinations.
Planning a trip
New trip
Additional intermediate destinations can be en‐
tered for a trip.

2. "Enter address"
3. "Enter new destination"
Entering intermediate destinations
A maximum of 30 intermediate destinations can
be entered for one trip.
