4. Snap out the cover using the screw driver
from the tool kit.
5. Remove the release tool from the tool kit.
6. Insert the release tool into the opening.
7. Turn the release tool all the way and then
press down. The transmission lock is re‐
leased and position P is no longer engaged.
Locking the transmission lock again
After parking the vehicle, lock the trans‐
mission lock again to prevent the vehicle from
rolling.◀
Locking
Pull out the release tool. The transmission lock
is locked again.
