displaying traffic bulletins. Symbols and

special destinations are not displayed.

Symbols in the map view

Depending on the scale of the map and the lo‐

cation of the traffic obstruction along the route,

the symbols for the traffic obstructions are dis‐

played.

Additional information in the map view

Depending on the map scale, a traffic obstruc‐

tion's length, direction, and impact are displayed

in the map using triangles or gray bars along the

calculated route.

Filtering of traffic bulletins

Set which traffic bulletins are to be displayed in

the map.

5. Set the filter.

Traffic bulletins of the selected category are dis‐

played in the map.

▷ Traffic bulletins on incidents along the route

are always displayed.

▷ For your own safety, traffic bulletins that no‐

tify you of potentially dangerous situations,

such as wrong-way drivers, cannot be hid‐

den.

Traffic bulletins during destination

guidance

▷ The system behavior depends on

whether "Dynamic guidance", refer to

page 162, is selected or not.

▷ During destination guidance, obstructions

on the route are taken into consideration.

▷ Sources of great danger are displayed re‐

gardless of the setting.

Traffic obstructions

The system calculates the optimized route, tak‐

ing into consideration traffic obstructions and

road types.

Selecting a detour

Set whether specific traffic obstructions or all

traffic obstructions should be taken into consid‐

eration during route planning.

bypass.

3. First, the traffic bulletins on the planned

route are displayed. The traffic bulletins are

sorted in the order of their distance from the

current vehicle position.

4. Select "Recomm. detour", if necessary.

"Dynamic guidance" is activated automati‐

cally.
