I spent six hours on this job, which included several stupid mistakes and one trip to the dealer. Hopefully the information

here will allow you to perform this work in five hours or less.

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

The only BMW-specified torque specifications for the parts involved in this procedure is 22Nm for the intake manifold to

head mounting nuts. For all other assembly, rely on your experience and remember that you are working with aluminum
