Standard/optional equipment.

 Xenon headlights for high and low beam, with automatic headlight range

control and headlight washing system, provide much better illumination of the

road ahead at night or in poor visibility. The four LED light rings can be used as

daytime running lights or parking lights.

 Adaptive Headlights with variable light distribution. The integrated cornering

lights become active automatically, even when the car is standing, as soon as the

indicator is activated or the steering wheel turned.

 Rear light cluster with tail light, brakelight and indicator in LED technology.

The typical BMW design of the light elements makes for optimum visibility.

Adaptive Brakelights with ﬂ ashing function help drivers in trailing vehicles

distinguish between gentle and full braking.

 Electric glass sunroof, with slide

and tilt function with fingertip control,

electrically adjustable floating headliner,

trap release, and comfort opening/

closing function.

 Exterior mirrors, electrically

adjustable and heated, aspheric.

 Interior and exterior mirrors with

automatic anti-glare function and

electric fold-in function (exterior

mirrors only).

Exhaust tailpipes: the BMW 5 2 8 i

features a visible twin tailpipe on the

left; the BMW 5 3 5 i has two single

tailpipes, one on the left and one on

the right.

 BMW Individual High-gloss

Shadow Line comprises front and rear

side window frames and window recess

ﬁ nishers in Black, high-gloss. (Standard

on BMW 5 5 0 i models.)

 Comfort Access for opening,

locking, or starting the vehicle without

having to operate the radio remote

control or insert the key into the dash.

(Standard on BMW 5 3 5 i and 5 5 0 i

models.)

Exhaust tailpipes: the BMW 5 5 0 i

features t wo t win tailpipes, one on the

left and one on the right, each with a

trapezoid chrome surround.
