Customizing the Navigator IV
Viewing FM TMC Trafc
Subscription Information
You can only access the trafc
settings if your Navigator IV is connected
to external power and an FM TMC trafc
receiver.
Touch > > . Not all
trafc settings are available for all locales.
turn trafc on and off.

area, or select a specic provider to use.
—search for additional TMC
trafc providers. If you are in a new area,
touch to clear the provider table.
—view your FM trafc
subscriptions and expiration dates (these are
listed on the main trafc settings page for
North American devices).

new subscription to a trafc service. Go to
www.garmin.com/fmtrafc to purchase a
subscription.
The trafc subscription code cannot be
reused. You must obtain a new code each
time you renew your service. If you own
multiple FM trafc receivers, you must
obtain a new code for each receiver.
Changing Bluetooth
Technology Settings
Touch > > .
When Bluetooth is enabled,
you can access the Bluetooth settings by
touching
on the Menu page.
or —select > to pair
with a device that has Bluetooth wireless
technology. To listen to high-quality
audio wirelessly, connect to a Bluetooth
headset that supports the A2DP prole. See
pages 19–21. Select to pair
and connect with a different device. The
Navigator IV PIN code (or passkey) is .

disconnect, and touch .
—select the device you want to
delete from the Navigator IV memory,
and touch .
—enable and disable the
Bluetooth component. The
icon appears on the Menu page if the
Bluetooth component is enabled. To prevent
a device from automatically connecting,

enter a friendly name that
identies your Navigator IV on devices with
Bluetooth technology. Touch .
—restore the original Bluetooth
settings. This does not clear the pairing
information.
