WHAT CURVES WERE MADE FOR.

enormous thrust is due to the specially developed kW, powerful

yet extremely efﬁ cient M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder petrol

engine. The perfect distribution of this immense capability is down

to the xDrive system and to Dynamic Performance Control – both,

of course, M-speciﬁ c. For xDrive, this means that the design of

the intelligent all-wheel-drive system is strongly rear-biased, thus

enabling controlled drift manoeuvres. Dynamic Performance Control

is the cornering specialist among chassis innovations. It ensures

perfect vehicle control even at high cornering speeds. And while the

BMW X M and BMW X M accelerate extremely quickly, they also

come to a halt with rapid efﬁ ciency – and pinpoint accuracy, thanks to the high-performance brakes. The system, with its impressive deceleration values

and superb stability, convincingly fulﬁ ls the promise of the brake calipers in metallic blue, with M logo on the front axle. And when the speedo is back in

the starting blocks, it means one thing – you’re ready for the next impressive burst of acceleration.
