Timer Speed Remote control

Starting and stopping:

> Select "Timer"

> Highlight "start." The timer starts

when the button is pressed – the sys-

tem switches to the "stop" function

> To stop the timer, press the button

once again.

To take an intermediate time:

> Select "Interim time" – the intermedi-

ate time will be displayed when you

press the button.

To allow the timer to run in the back-

ground:

> While the timer is running, leave the

menu via "return."

You may now call up any other func-

tions you may wish to use – the timer

will continue to run.

You can obtain a display of the car's av-

erage speed. The average speed is cal-

culated for the time during which the

engine is running.

In order to initiate the calculation for av-

erage speed, select from ignition key

position 1 and up:

> "Speed"

> "Recalculate? yes."

If you wish to continue the calcu-

lation of the average speed based

on the previous data, select

> "Recalculate? no."<

With the ignition key in position 1 and

up, you can use the button in the turn

signal lever to call up information from

the onboard computer for display in the

instrument cluster.

First, store the functions whose data

you wish to call up:

> Press the button on the turn signal le-

ver toward the steering column until

"Remote Control" appears in the dis-

play

> Select the desired functions from

those which are backlighted in green.

Once you have made your complete

selection:

> Select "memorize."

In order to call up the data:

Press the turn signal lever briefly.
