Distance and arrival time Range

Distance

The remaining distance to the destina-

tion will be displayed on the screen.

The only requirement is that you have

entered the total distance before the

start of the trip. To do this:

> Select "Distance."

Enter the total distance and confirm

your entry by pressing the button.

When the destination guidance

system is started, the distance of

the planned route is automatically im-

ported. Any data which have been pre-

viously entered are overwritten.<

Arrival time

When you have entered a destination,

an estimated time of arrival will be dis-

played. This time is calculated continu-

ously by the onboard computer, based

on current driving conditions.

You will receive a display of the pro-

jected mileage which you can still drive

with the available fuel. This calculation

is based on the previous average fuel

consumption.

Do not go below a cruising range

of 7 miles (approx. 11 kilometer),

since damage to the engine or catalytic

converter could otherwise occur.<

When you are filling the fuel tank,

the onboard computer registers

fuel amounts only above one gallon

(four liters).<
