Sound quality

The best sound quality is obtained if

you

> use C60, C90 or special auto-cas-

settes

> remove the cassettes from the vehi-

cle in extremely cold or hot weather

(below –15 ºF/–106 or above 104 ºF/

406)

> protect the cassettes against expo-

sure to direct sunlight or dirt and

dust.

Listening to cassettes

Switch on the radio.

Push a cassette into the slot or, if there

is already one in the slot,

press on the right until "TAPE A" is dis-

played.

Noise suppression

Press until you receive the best sound

quality. Selection is made between

Dolby off, Dolby B and C.

Changing the tape track

Ejecting a cassette

Search via keys

Music search:

Press briefly in the desired direction.

The next piece of music is only recog-

nized after a period of silence at least

four seconds long.

Fast forward/reverse:

Press twice briefly in the desired direc-

tion:

To interrupt the fast forward/reverse:

Press briefly in the desired direction.
