DSP sound system

Digital Sound Processing (DSP) assures

an optimum level of audio reproduction

quality by means of spatial simulation

and also by providing equalizer func-

tions.

It is only operational when the radio is

switched on.

Switching on and off

1 Select "DSP" from the general menu.

2 Select "switch on" or "switch off".

Scanning and selecting

1 Select "Demo".

2 To accept one of the sample settings

(concert hall, jazz club, cathedral):

press while the sample is being heard.

The remaining samples cannot be se-

lected directly. If the demonstration is

interrupted, the settings in use before-

hand are retained.

Individual tone control preset

Tone control presets 1 to 3 can be

adjusted individually:

1 Select the desired preset.

2 Select the aspect to be changed.

3 Make the adjustment and store it

each time by pressing the button.

Concert hall, jazz club and cathedral

are fixed preset settings and cannot be

modified.

If one of the sound-pattern con-

trols (spatial acoustic, reverbera-

tion) is set to 0, the other reverts to 0

automatically. As soon as you move a

control away from 0, the other returns

to its previous setting. However, this is

cancelled if you reset both controls to

zero.c

Calling up tone control preset

1 Select "Memo".

2 Select tone control preset.
