DVD Operation (Advanced)

Changing Rating settings:

Use to restrict movie viewing for children of appropriate

age levels. (Factory default Rating setting is ‘8. Adult’)

Use left and right DIRECTION ARROW buttons to

select RATINGS from SETUP menu, and press ENTER

(highlight indicates current selection). Use the down

DIRECTION ARROW button to select RATING, and

press ENTER to change. Available ratings are:

1. Kid Safe

2. G

3. PG

4. PG_13

5. PG_R

6. R

7. NC_17

8. Adult

Rating 1. Kid Safe

Note: Password protection is not implemented in

this version.

Notes:

• On un-rated DVDs, playback will not be

restricted even if rating level is set. If you

are unsure about a DVD, play it first to

confirm. Do not leave DVDs you deem

inappropriate accessible to young children.

• Rating level remains in memory until

changed. To enable play of discs of higher

rating levels, this setting must be changed.
