VEHICLE: BMW SERIE 7 (Year 2004) with original remote control handset

ONLY FOR CAN BUS ALARM INSTALLATION (CB Line)

ALARM POSITION: place the alarm in the boot connecting the power supply directly to the battery, PHOTO 1.

Place the siren in contact with the pastic body to obtain a higher sound intensitivity, PHOTO

2, PHOTO 3.

ALARM POWER SUPPLY

(GT RED and BROWN wires):

connect the positive and the alarm positive and negative directly to the battery terminals.

INDICATORS

(GT ORANGE wires):

do not connect the GT805/6 CB alarm ORANGE wire to avoid any conflict with the original

alarm system with the GT alarm.

TD and Petrol ENGINE

IMMOBILISATION (WHITE and

GREY wires):

cut the BLACK/VIOLET wire pos.20 in the BLACK connector marked X010318 to the BLACK

CAS control unit fixed under the dashboard on the driver’s side, in the zone over the bonnet

knob.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS

(BLUE/VIOLET wires):

it is not possible to command them because there are no wires which can be used; to close

the windows it is necessari to keep the doors locking button on the vehicle’s handset

depressed.

CAN BUS LOW

(GT RED/GREY wIre):

connect to the GREEN wire in the group of cables near the battery in the boot. PHOTO 1.

CAN BUS HIGH

(GT RED/BROWN wire):

connect to the ORANGE/GREEN wire in the group of cables near the battery in the boot.

WARNING:

The signals relative to the arming/disarming by the vehicle original remote control handset, locking and unlocking by the

key, doors, boot, bonnet opening and closing and +15/54 are read from the vehicle CAN Bus line, therefore THEY MUST

NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE RELATIVE WIRES.

1- SELECT THE BMW SERIE 7 VEHICLE CONFIGURATION (see VEHICLES CAN BUS CONFIGURATION TABLE” contained

in the alarm box) FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE SPECIFIED IN THE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS. If the vehicle doesn’t

appear in the table ask the software update to the GETRONIC dealer.

2 - NOTES ON THE INSTALLATION:

NOTE 1: it is advisable to not activate the “Alarm arming/disarming visual signal”.

WARNING:

IF THE VEHICLE IS ALREADY EQUIPPED WITH ORIGINAL ULTRASONIC DO NOT CONNECT THEM TO THE ALARM.
